All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit this information.
Service Delivery Area (app.wawp.net) and Webhooks Integration
We are keen to provide the best performance and achieve the highest standard of privacy. Therefore, the structure of displaying the previous or current messages of a connected phone number was not designed like the standard interface of WhatsApp, and the messaging logs feature is integrated into the attached WordPress plugin and stored solely on your own WordPress site.
This ensures the highest security and privacy standards for using our platform for its designated purposeādelivering order notifications seamlessly. However:
- Webhook Enablement and Read Telemetry: When you enable the Webhook feature, our servers process and relay message status telemetry in real-time. This allows Wawp to supply enhanced details such as tracking message delivery and whether a message has been read (Read Receipts).
- Authentication Services (OTP) and Interactive Layouts (Lists & Buttons): We securely process and route temporary verification codes via our API (OTP via API) alongside interactive list structures and navigation buttons to deliver rapid, seamless auth mechanisms for your end-users. All transmission is encrypted and transit-processed instantly.
- We may see your connected numbers and the files you upload on our platform in order to combat misuse and ensure system stability.
- Once you delete a number from our system, the number itself along with all associated message logs, metadata, and history are completely, permanently, and instantly deleted from our databases in real-time.
- Please note that there is a distinct difference between logging out of WhatsApp on your phone and deleting the number from our platform.
- We strongly recommend utilizing a phone number designated strictly for commercial/business purposes.
Subdomain Data & Privacy Handling (app, api, help)
Wawp is fully committed to securing your data and maintaining transaction confidentiality across all platform subdomains and gateways:
- User Dashboard Portal (app.wawp.net): When authenticating and scanning the QR Code to link your WhatsApp session, secure temporary cookie tokens are utilized to preserve session integrity. We represent and warrant that Wawp does not read, store, or index your private chat contents. Message payloads are transit-processed instantly, with media files permanently purged from our gateway caches within 7 days and delivery metadata logs deleted within 30 days automatically.
- Developer API Gateway (api.wawp.net): We collect temporary server transactional logs of developer requests (such as client IP, user agent strings, invoked endpoints, and response status codes). This telemetry is utilized exclusively for cyber security audits, system health telemetry, and enforcement of fair-use rate limiting parameters to guard against service denial events.
- Documentation & Support Portal (help.wawp.net): Basic anonymous analytical counts are collected on the technical guides and integration articles viewed (such as WooCommerce plugin guides). This is used solely to improve our educational documentations and streamline integration setups.
